Student will learn to identify the properties of chlorine\, dosage\, demand and residual problems\, breakpoint chlorination\, disinfection by-products (THM’s)\, alternative disinfectants together with liquid and gas chlorination practice problems.\n\nMarch 16\, 2026: Title 22/EPA – 7 Contact Hrs./0.7 CEUs \n\nOperators will evaluate MCLs\, record keeping requirements\, operational regulations and personnel legislation. Operators will interpret and apply these laws as they relate to all areas of the water industry in California. Students will also review a compilation of the most current regulations issued by Groundwater and Drinking water division of the EPA.
